Wishing you a Strumming Summer!

Hello everyone! Just thought I would drop you a little line before I head off on my holidays!

We had an absolutely fantastic run of gigs this summer season and we are really playing fantastically well as a team!

Thinking right back to York Ukulele Festival and what we have done since then… Kirkstall Festival, Sela Bar, Otley Food Festival (photos coming soon!), The Walking Festival, Leeds Visitor Centre at Leeds Train Station and not to mention our summer party with Otley A Cappella at Korks! We have had some great moments and a lot of laughs a long the way.

I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for all your effort, hard work, and company over the last few months. I love our Monday sessions and I am so excited for a new season, with new songs, new gigs and hopefully some new recruits! We have some exciting times ahead with the Folk Festival, Beer Festival and even the possibility of a gig on Briggate in the big city of Leeds! I really hope you will be around to join in the fun…

Please be aware of the new session times starting September

Session 1 (fun sing-a-long session suitable for players of all abilities) 7pm-8pm (£4)
Session 2 (for any player who would like to take part in gigs, performances and recordings) 8pm-9pm (£4)

price for both sessions £6

I am working on our new songs already and have had some great suggestions from you all. I am sorry we didn’t have the end of term party I had planned (thanks to the flood!) but thank you for your understanding, flowers, presents and kind words. You really are all AWESOME!

so – have a wonderful summer and see you in September
