Can’t wait to see you all again on 20th…. there’ll be new songs and more fun to be had…
We were more than happy to welcome the Channel 4 News team to Otley and The Woolpack this week! What a friendly bunch of guys!
There was a little pre-recording of Richard, Simon and I playing It’s My Party and being interviewed about issues surrounding the general election.
It was an insight into the world of live TV (it seemed very stressful!) and everything changed last minute as we were told that the filming would take place in North Bar instead. I was disappointed mainly because I’d spent so long cleaning The Woolpack to be TV ready! Anyway – we all squished in for a little interview (go John and Jackie!) before we played the Channel 4 theme tune at the end of the show. There were loads of us in there but you could only see a few of us at the front.
I’d like to say a big thank you to all the players who came and waited patiently and learned the theme tune so well. We had a lovely email from the producer to say how great we were!
I hope there will be more TV appearances in the future… 🙂
