Just wanted to wish you all a lovely August – I hope it is full of sunshine, strumming and good times! We had some awesome gigs over the past couple of months – the carnival, the walking festival, Kirkstall Festival and The Woolpack Party at Korks. Thank you to all who came to play and support us :-)
One particular highlight for me was hearing Otley Ukulele Orchestra and Otley A Cappella Choir perform Weather With You and One Day Like This together.
We’ll be back in session on Monday 7th September 2015 in the new look Woolpack Studios! We are still raising money for our building works which will make our Monday sessions even better – if you can help (any donation is much appreciated!) then please visit
In the meantime please have a look at our GIGS and DATES FOR YOUR DIARY tabs at the top of the page… there are loads of exciting gigs and events coming up between now and next summer!
I will be working on new arrangements over August to make sure you all have lots of lovely songs to get stuck into in September!
Until then keep on strumming my friends :-)

WE DID IT! AGAIN! We’re so so happy that we came FIRST in the Adult Float Category at Otley Carnival 20th June 2015. I would like to say a huge, huge thank you to everyone who helped from brainstorming ideas, tearing up thousands of pieces of red tissue paper, making a giant drum/palm tree/backdrop, carried stuff from The Woolpack to the float, plugged in microphones, made a massive effort with the costumes and strummed and sang like you life depended on it!
You are all truly ukulele legends. We had such a fun day :-)
