HAPPY NEW YEAR! We rounded off 2019 in style with a gig at Sela Bar in Leeds… here’s a photo! Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2019… here’s to 2020 and a whole year of ukulele fun together!

BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has helped make Otley Ukulele Orchestra such a wonderful community to be a part of! We’ve had a wonderful 2018 with really enjoyable Monday evening sessions as well as performing at these great events…

OUO at Bingley Arts Centre September 2018

We had a fantastic evening with Bradford Accordion Band, Bazzmatazz, Sisters Of Serbia and many other acts at Bingley Arts Centre on 29th September 2018. The evening was organised brilliantly by Anita, who leads the Bradford Accordion Band. It was so much fun to play with the band on Rivers Of Babylon too. The proceeds from the evening all went to Manorlands Hospice. Thanks to all who came to play and sing a long with us. Thanks to JOHN SARGEANT from THE IMAGE STUDIO for the photos 🙂

 

 

SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER 2018

MONDAY SESSIONS 

7:30pm-8:30pm a fun just-turn-up session suitable for players with basic chord knowledge and strumming techniques (guidance is given)

8:30pm-9:30pm in the later session we will look at more complex arrangements of songs we perform at gigs. There will be TAB (single note melodies, riffs and solos), chords and alternative chords – but always something for newer players to try as well as those who’d like a challenge.

Three Lions (Come on England!)

July 2018

We ended June with a bang on Saturday with a wonderful Walking Festival Finale party and gig with wonderful food from All Good Things and beer from Briscoe’s brewery!

We have 5 sessions left before the summer break so we hope to see you very soon….

2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th July we will be playing at the usual time of 7:30pm or 8:30pm if you only want to to come to the second session!
